The Mobile Group of Special Action is a self-sufficient rapid response team, specially trained and highly disciplined, able to react to emergencies in Merovingia as well as any other place inside the Ariadnan territories. Created as a special riot squad of the Merovingian Gendarmerie, it has a paramilitary nature and receives its training alongside Ranger and Para-Commando units.

The Celestial Guard are the units which guard the celestial emperor's capital, especially the Forbidden City, the great palace compound, which includes the Imperial Palace (the size of a small city), recreational pavilions, big gardens and the mansions of other members of the imperial family, noblemen and civil servants from the Yu Jing Ministry of Justice.

The members of Tohaa Diplomacy are known for their flexibility and adaptability to any scenario.

The Pheasant rank Imperial Agents (Yě Jī) are third grade civil servants from the tactical judicial wing. They are special advisors: their mission is to provide support services and aid to local and state police departments fighting violent and organized crime, drug trafficking and subversive activities.

In an army conceived as an attack and assault force with a noble warrior tradition like that of the Japanese, the commanders, who are usually Bushi, only value their first line combat units. Because of this, the evacuation, medical, technical maintenance, and repairing services, being "just" support troops, have been integrated into a single, under-resourced unit, the Tokusetsu Butai, the Auxiliary Regiment.

The Kempeitai is a clandestine and subversive unit that has infiltrated the Nipponese Army of Yu Jing. Their members are diehard nationalists, loyal fanatics to the Japanese Emperor, their symbol of the subjugated Japanese nation. Their ultimate goal is to free Japan from the tyranny of Yu Jing, using any means necessary.
